its not the BT tower panorama but these views from the Bath Abbey tower are as impressive



Yesterday I had the chance to stand on the roof of the tallest building at the centre of a World Heritage City!

The Abbey is the largest, and perhaps the most important building in the historic city of Bath.  As a building that welcomes around 400,000 visitors a year, the Abbey recently started to offer ‘Tower Tours’ to give a new perspective on the building and the city it serves.

Hosted by very knowledgable young guides (who were members of the congregation) our tour provided a unique opportunity to climb to the belfry and clock room, walk the length of the nave roof, see the stone fan vaulting from above, and take in the views from the top of the tower.
